  • 500g ramsons (wild garlic)
  • 300g flour
  • 200ml milk
  • 50g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp active dry yeast

Instructions

  1. Wash the ramsons thoroughly and chop finely.
  2. Heat the milk and butter in a saucepan until the butter melts. Allow to cool until lukewarm.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Add the lukewarm milk mixture and beaten egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, then mix in the chopped ramsons.
  5. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  7. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into rolls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

  • Ramsons have a pungent garlic flavor, so adjust the quantity to suit your taste preferences.
  • If you can’t find ramsons, you can substitute them with spinach or another leafy green.
