Ingredients
  

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Pat the tilapia fillets dry with paper towels and place them in a baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush the mixture over each tilapia fillet, ensuring they are well-coated.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the fillets, pressing them gently to adhere.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the tilapia is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Garnish with lemon slices before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, you can marinate the tilapia fillets in the lemon herb mixture for 30 minutes before baking. This will enhance the infusion of flavors into the fish. Adjust salt and pepper according to your taste preferences. Serve with steamed vegetables or a side salad for a balanced meal.
