Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup boiled and mashed purple yam (ube)
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Purple food coloring (optional, for a deeper color)
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Ube halaya or ube jam (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the mashed purple yam, vanilla ice cream, milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. Add purple food coloring if desired, and blend again until the desired color is achieved.
  • Pour the ube milkshake into glasses.
  • Top with whipped cream and a spoonful of ube halaya or jam if using.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Ube Milkshake!

Notes

For an extra indulgent treat, you can garnish the milkshake with crushed ube cookies or toasted coconut flakes. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference by adding more or less sweetened condensed milk. Feel free to experiment with the toppings and make it your own!
