Lemon Ginger & Honey Health Drink : A Natural Way to Boost Your Immunity

Ingredients
  

  • Fresh Ginger chopped
  • Lemon
  • Honey

Instructions
 

  • There is so many different ways to make this drink.
  • Method 1:
  • Boil the chopped ginger and lemon juice in water. Sieve and sweeten with Honey.
  • Method 2:
  • Chop the ginger. Peel and de-seed the lemon. Blend in some water. Add this to boiling water, sieve out chunks and sweeten with honey.
  • Method 3: Making Iced Lemon Ginger & Honey
  • Starting out with the second method, but this time sieve the puree and pour into glass, add some ice cubed and fill with cold water. Sweeten with honey.
  • To give you an idea of the amounts for 1 Mason jar, I use one finger of ginger, 1 lemon and 2 tablespoons of Honey. You can adjust the honey per your preferred sweetness.

With winter approaching, I am sharing a drink that’s a cold/flu home remedy. I have this drink whenever I am about to come down with something and most times I get better immediately. I even just have it when I need a drink with a pop. Actually a lot of people have this drink, some even as a tea, you just pop a tea bag in it. The good thing is you can have it iced or hot.
It combines the health benefits of the lemon ginger and honey into one super drink. Ginger helps with stomach upsets, dizziness, sour throat, nausea among many other great benefits. Lemon, well we all know it has vitamin C which is good for the immune system. You could have them separately but that’s a lot of bitterness and sourness. Reap the benefits by combining all the benefits of the lemon ginger & honey.
