Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped asparagus, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken balls in batches and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove the cooked chicken balls from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or as a topping for salads or pasta dishes.

Notes

  • Be sure to finely chop the asparagus to ensure it cooks evenly and blends well with the other ingredients.
  • You can also bake the chicken balls in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
