dried hibiscus flowers
1 tablespoon
dried lavender buds
Honey or sugar to taste (optional)
Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Add the dried hibiscus flowers and lavender buds to the boiling water.
Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the tea steep for an additional 5 minutes.
Strain the tea into cups or a teapot to remove the flowers and buds.
Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired and garnish with lemon slices.
Serve the hibiscus lavender tea hot or chilled over ice.
