Hibiscus Lavender Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender buds
  • Honey or sugar to taste (optional)
  • Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the dried hibiscus flowers and lavender buds to the boiling water.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the tea steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Strain the tea into cups or a teapot to remove the flowers and buds.
  6. Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired and garnish with lemon slices.
  7. Serve the hibiscus lavender tea hot or chilled over ice.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness of the tea by adding more or less honey or sugar according to your preference.
  • Be careful not to oversteep the tea, as it can become too bitter.
  • Use organic or food-grade dried flowers to ensure the purity and safety of the tea.
